Tune type: nursery rhyme Key: D Divine Pitch Tutorials are designed for beginners who want to learn folk melodies on the violin/fiddle, mandolin, tenor banjo, or any other string instrument tuned in fifths (eg. G D A E). If you have a friend with a guitar, ukulele, 5-string banjo, bass etc., there are some chord symbols for them in the final play-through. These tutorials are at our favourite "divine pitch" where A = 432Hz. The difference between this and standard pitch (A = 440Hz) is less than a semitone. Your local folk club is likely to use standardised pitch A = 440, but I like to think that it's good for both the human and the instrument to tune up and down regularly. The free app shown in the intro is called "soundcorset tuner and metronome" which I recommend as simple to understand. Long-press to access "frequency" settings and change A4 to 432.
